Thank you for the great photos. It is a always pleasure to learn how others see, and how well they express themselves in photos.

I am an amateur photographer and I plan to purchase a Canon G9. In the future I might acquire the telephoto lens. Does this lens have a focal adjustment? Or does the camera’s auto-focus work automatically with it? If I am taking a photo of a bird from afar, how does the focus work?

First of all, thanks for your compliments.
About the external lens I can’t help you too much, beacause I don’t own one. But as far as I now this lens is a little dark and maybe the autofocus doesn’t work so well than the G9. My general recommendation in this cases is, if you will want to use external lenses buy a simple reflex cam (Pentax K100D, Nikon D40x, etc.).
